Rematch for the Roland Garros final. Zverev defeated Alcaraz at ATP Finals 2024

The second number of the ATP rating Alexander Zverev (Germany) won the third match at the Finals 2024, which is held on indoor hard courts in Turin (Italy).

In the 3rd round of the John Newcombe Group, Zverev lost in two sets Carlos Alcaraz (ATP 3) in 1 hour and 59 minutes.

It was the 11th meeting of the rivals. Zverev won the 6th head-to-head match. Their previous match was played on June 9 in the Roland Garros final. Then Carlitos won in five games, winning the trophy.

Alexander won three out of three matches in Turin and entered the semi-finals from first place. Alcaraz, with one win, still maintains a chance for the second position. Everything depends on the result of the match between Casper Ruud and Andrei Rublev, which will start at 21:30 Kyiv time.

In the semifinals, Zverev will play against Taylor Fritz, who became the second in the parallel quartet – Ilie Nastase Group.
