On January 24, the 1/2 final match between Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev. Nole lost the tiebreak of the first set with a score of 5:7, after which he refused to continue the match due to an injury to his left hip.

Zverev became the second men’s player in the Open Era to win and lose a major semifinal by forfeit (after Rafael Nadal in 2022).
