– In the finals of one of the Italian tournaments you met with Russian Makarov. Do you feel extra pressure or motivation in games against free?
– My theory that Russian people are afraid of me. I know that almost every Ukrainian player had a scandal associated with them. I happened to me, but not in my address – no. In the Russians, a very strange reaction to me: I catch their oblique glances, but approach and say something to me they do not dare. Therefore, my theory is that they are afraid of me. Because I am evil Bandera and “breakfast before the matches of Russian babies” (laughs).
But as for the pressure, I have a very deep belief that Russians have no right to compete at all. They support the war. This is my opponent in the final of the tournament in Italy – I know for sure that it supports the war, liking propaganda publications. When I start thinking about it, I start to treat the match as if it should not be. I tied so that the Russians are not subjects. They do not need to prove anything about them. It is better to communicate with foreigners and explain that not so much with the whole situation that the Russians were allowed to speak. What is the problem in general.
The Russians say, “We can do nothing.” Here they are for me and not subjects! They are objects. People are purely at the biological level. I’m so tuned, I’m so better. Then I can show my good tennis.
– Let’s move on to volunteer activity. You are actively raising money for drones thanks to _drones4ua.org. When did they start doing it? What teams do you help?
– We cooperate directly with the Redrone project, financeing purchase and conversion. They began cooperation with Redrone because the nominal concept, in addition to interest for fans, gives absolute transparency (transparency). Very often, drones from our cooperation receives the Brigade of the Dovbush, but not only they.
Initially, we transferred the money to the Sergei Sternenko Foundation. Our fund has been information in many aspects. Then there was a history of raising money through a ceremony.
Now the concept is. There are several girls from the tour: I, Christina Wozniak, Lisa Trush – fans can go to the link and support the tennis player. Then he arrives for the money purchased for this money from the player supported by the fan and kills the occupier. Or destroys the technique. Everyone is satisfied! When I see that the Russians die, it is incredibly charging me! By the way, in the finals I also went and thought I needed to gather, because when you win, people would be very active! This is win-win situation, let’s say so!
Instagram. Oleksandra Oliynikov together with his father – The Russians complained to the organizers that you have a reference to the charitable fund on the jersey. How did you manage to get out of this situation?
– Now I have a link not to the fund on my clothes, but to my Instagram page (they are in harmony with Drones4ua.org) because of censorship. But there were no problems before. I even made this inscription on the central court of the WTA tournament in Chile. The claims began for some reason after the match with the Russian. There were a lot of both secure and repainted Russians – people 10. And I am alone. Here they come to the supervisor and make a claim.
It was very funny when the organizers tried to think of why I could not play with this inscription. First they say: “Politics”. I reply: “Well, what is the policy? I am neither for the left nor for the right! ”. Then they say, “It’s Military.” And I explain: “On this page there is a redirection to drones. And you can order drones on the Internet. How can you order on the Chinese site may be Military? I do not collect rockets. ” Then they clung to, “So, do you collect something? So now I have my Instagram logo on the T -shirt. And the fact that it is called drones4ua.org, it is just a coincidence. I want more people to subscribe to me. Maybe I want to become an inflight.
– Your father protects Ukraine in the Armed Forces. When a full -scale invasion of Russia began, your family has long lived in Croatia. But your father decided to return from abroad and go to the front. How difficult did you make such a decision?
– Dad thought for a long time. Probably, for me, it was the most difficult test in life. Since my dad is such a wonderful and loving father, so much support in life and court. My dad led absolutely all my business. And even now he takes on most of the managerial work. But I understand that I could not keep a person from going to a honest business to protect my state to defend the country I dream of returning to me. Because I want to associate my future with Ukraine only!
I was afraid that I would not handle my dad in a tennis plan. Because I can’t describe the words of his support. For me, he is really the best father in the world! I can’t imagine the best! But somewhere it even motivated me! So now, when I go to the court, I realize that I play not only for my country, for my flag, but also for my dad! For me he is a real hero. In my opinion, all Ukrainian volunteers are heroes!
– History, why your family was forced to leave Ukraine. They say the problems began when your father’s firm published T -shirts “Thank you to the residents of Donbass for the President …”. It was in Yanukovych’s time.
– Dad printed these T -shirts, some people did not like it. I was little, but I remembered a lot. Dad defeated the office, carried out various equipment. There was a threat that the father could simply be imprisoned. And we went through the oppression of the then regime.
