Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandr Oliinikov (WTA 91) reached the semifinals of the WTA 250 tournament in Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian defeated the 33rd ranked player in the world in two sets Wang Xinyu (China, WTA 33).

Alexandra played against Wang Xinyu for the first time.

Oliynikova won her debut victory over a tennis player from the top 50 of the WTA ranking.
