Oliinikova overcame the 33rd racket and made it to the semifinals of the tournament in Romania

Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandr Oliinikov (WTA 91) reached the semifinals of the WTA 250 tournament in Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian defeated the 33rd ranked player in the world in two sets Wang Xinyu (China, WTA 33).

Oliynikova won her debut victory over a tennis player from the top 50 of the WTA ranking.

Oleksandra is holding the first competitions at the Tour level in her career. In Cluj, in addition to Wang Xinyu, she also defeated Maylar Sherif and Anna Bondar. Her next opponent will be the winner of the match between Emma Radukanu (Great Britain, WTA 30) and Maja Hwalinska (Poland, WTA 146).
