Last year’s finalist of the Final Tournament started in Turin with a victory

American tennis player and the sixth racket of the world Taylor Fritz successfully started at the ATP 2025 Final Tournament in Turin, Italy.

In the first round of Jimmy Connors’ group, the American beat the representative of Italy in two sets Lorenzo Musetti (ATP 9) in 1 hour and 43 minutes.

Musetti and Fritz held the sixth face-to-face confrontation. Taylor beat Lorenzo for the third time.

In one quartet, Musetti and Fritz perform together with Carlos Alcaraz and Alex de Minaur.

Taylor won his fourth victory over a top-10 representative of the ATP ranking in 2025.

Last year, Fritz reached the ATP Finals, where he lost to Yannick Sinner.
