Kazakhstani tennis player Yelena Rybakina (WTA 9) became the champion of the WTA 500 hard tournament in Ningbo.
In the final match, Rybakina defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova (WTA 10) in three sets in 1 hour and 9 minutes.
The Kazakhstan representative played her 21st WTA final and won her 10th trophy, her second this season. In May, she became the champion at the WTA 500 tournament in Strasbourg.
Next week, Rybakina, whose team includes Lyudmila Kichenok’s fiance Stas Khmarskyi, will play at the WTA 500 tournament in Tokyo, where she will continue the fight for the last vacant spot at the WTA Finals.
