It was a special match for me – to play with Novak in the semifinals of the Grand Slam tournament. It’s incredible. I needed to show my best tennis, and I’m very glad how I coped with the situation.

– How difficult is it to play against Novak, perceiving it as a player, not as a legend?
– Yes, it’s really difficult. It reached incredible heights. He is the most prominent player in the history of our sports, and playing with him here is something special.
Of course, I try not to think about it, but before going to the court you feel tension, you realize who you have to play against. However, I always try to prepare as best you can, be prepared for any script on the court. I am pleased with the team and I coped with this today.
