Ukrainian tennis player Anastasia Soboleva (WTA 209) will begin qualifying for the 2025 Australian Open January 7.
Originally, the opening match of the 20-year-old Ukrainian against Victoria Golubych (Switzerland, WTA 90) was scheduled for Monday (January 6) in the 4th start, but due to rain, the last games on each of the courts in Melbourne were postponed to the next day.
Soboleva will start the match against Golubych approximately 05:30 Kyiv time on court #8 after the Hontam – Sharma game.
Daria Snigur also performs in the selection for the Australian Open Championship. Today she lost to Emilana Arango in the 1st round of qualification.
