On Wednesday, the organizers announced that London will become the first city in the history of the tournament to take the Lever Cup for the second time. Feder himself expressed his joy about returning to a place filled with tennis nostalgia, not only through his farewell match, but also due to more than ten years of ATP tournament in The O2.
“My last match in 2022 was filled with emotions and unforgettable memories – to be surrounded by teammates, who were also my most fierce rivals – this was exactly what I dreamed of,” Feder said in an official statement.
“I look forward to returning to this iconic place, this time as a fan to feel the incredible atmosphere of Lever Cup again.”

Although Feder’s farewell match became the main event of the Liver Cup, London also became the place of the first victory of the world over the fifth attempt in 2022. This year, both teams will have new captains-Andre Agassi (USA) and Yannik Noa (France), who debut in the San Francisco tournament in September.
Thus, the return of the Lever Cup to The O2 in 2026 enshrines the status of the first citywide city, which hosted the tournament more than once.
