“I don’t feel myself lately. I am not in a proper emotional state and I do not feel ready to play, so I finish the season on that.
During these years, I learned that this sport is not about money, glory or ratings, but about the willingness to fight and give all the strength. Now I’m not in that psychological and emotional state to do it.
Not every day should be productive, strong or full of energy. Some days are difficult – and it doesn’t make me weak. It just means that I’m a person and I need time to relax, feel, breathe and just be.
Therefore, I give myself the space needed to recover and restore strength, instead of forcing myself, and when I get back to the court, I want to fight all my strength and show myself on the best side for fans, for playing and for myself.
