The third racket of the world Coco Goff from the USA made it to the 1/8 finals of the 2026 Australian Open.

In the third round, the American beat her compatriot in three sets with a comeback Haley Baptiste (WTA 70), hanging a lamb in the second game.

Goff is the youngest American to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open four times in a row since Lindsay Davenport (five in a row from 1994-1998).

Koko’s next opponent will be 19th-seeded Karolina Muhova (Czech Republic, WTA 19), who knocked out Magda Lynette (Poland, WTA 50) in the third round.

Koko previously played against Carolina four times and won four.
