Five more representatives of Ukraine – Marta Kostyuk, Dayana Yastremska, Oleksandra Oliinikova, Yulia Starodubtseva and Angelina Kalinina finished their performances in the first round.

For the first time since 2021, only one Ukrainian will play in the second round of the Australian Open. Five years ago, there were two Ukrainian women (Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk) in the main draw of the major in Melbourne. Elina then reached the fourth round of the Aus Open.
Svitolina will play against Linda Klimovichova in the 1/32 finals of Aus Open 2026.
