For the first time in history, three female tennis players earned more than $8 million during the season

Immediately in 2024 three tennis players earned on the court (not including sponsorship contracts) over 8 million dollars. This happened for the first time in history.

During the last season, Arina Sobolenko received 9.7 million. dollars, Coco Goff – $9.4 million, and Iga Svyontek – $8.4 million.

However, the tennis player who earned the highest amount in one year is still the legendary Serena Williams. In 2013, she received $12,385,572.
