For the first time in her career, the Ukrainian won a match in the main draw of the WTA 125 tournament

Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandr Oliinikov (WTA 308) reached the 2nd round of the WTA 125 clay tournament in Colina (Chile).

The Ukrainian started from the qualification. In the only qualifying match, she defeated Ilena In-Albon (Switzerland, WTA 347). In the 1/16 finals of the basics, Oliinikova coped with Martina Capurro Taborda (Argentina, WTA 328) in two games.

For the second time in her career, Oliynikova made her way into the base of the 125-thousandth and won the main draw for the first time. In September 2023, she lost in the round of 16 of the WTA 125 tournament in Ljubljana to Zeynep Sonmez.

In the 2nd round in Kolin, Oliynikova will play against the winner of the match between Susan Lamens (Netherlands, WTA 86) and Nina Stojanovic (Serbia, WTA 432).
