33-year-old Czech tennis player Carolina Plishkova (WTA 600) announced a return to the court after one year pauses in the game.

The former first racket of the world has declared an ITF W75 tournament in the French city of Lebur, which will be held from September 8 to September 14.

For Carolina, this will be the first tournament from last year’s US Open, where she was injured in the ankle in the 1/32 finals. In September 2024, she underwent surgery, and in May 2025 she again lay under the same problem.

Plishkova is called on the alternative list for the qualification of 75 thousand in Legger. However, it is likely that it will receive a Wild Card from the organizers.
