March 25 Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina Izi Svontek gave way to the 1/8 finals of the WTA 1000 in Miami, USA.
The Ukrainian lost with a score of 6: 7 (5: 7), 3: 6 for 2 hours and 5 minutes. After the first party, Elina took a medical time out.
It was the fourth meeting of rivals. Svitolina has been defeated for the third time.
The next rival Svontek will be young Alexander Eala from the Philippines.
