Djokovic got off to a good start at the Aus Open with his 100th win in Melbourne

10-time winner of the Australian Open Novak Djokovic (Serbia, ATP 4) advanced to the second round of the major.

In the first round, the Serb dealt with by Pedro Martinez (Spain, ATP 71) in 2 hours.

Djokovic had his first head-to-head match against Pedro.

Novak won his 100th victory at the Australian Open. Novak became the second player in the Open Era to win 100+ men’s singles matches at the Australian Open after Roger Federer (102).

Djokovic is also the first tennis player to reach this mark at three different Grand Slam tournaments (101 – Roland Garros, 102 – Wimbledon). At the US Open, Novak has 95 victories.

Djokovic is holding the 81st major of his career and tied with Roger Federer and Feliciano Lopez in this indicator.

Novak’s next opponent will be qualifier Francesco Maestrelli (Italy, ATP 141).
