Oliinikova became the first Ukrainian tennis player to reach the semifinals at the debut WTA tournament.
In 2004, Olga Savchuk reached the quarterfinals in her first Tour-level competition – this was the best result of a Ukrainian woman in her debut WTA tournament.
In the semi-finals of Cluj-Napoca, Oleksandra Oliinikova will compete against US Open 2021 champion Emma Radukana. The meeting will take place on January 6.
