“Alona Ostapenko did not plan to play in pairs”, – WRITE: Sport.ua
“A few days before the tournament she (Erin Rutliffe) I asked if I wanted to play with her. I was not going to play an even digit here at all, but then I thought, “Why not? She is a wonderful paired tennis player. ” Yes, it was a lot of fun. ”
Rutliffe and Ostapenko played together for the first time, but throughout the tournament they looked like a played and balanced steam. Especially in the finals they have won confidently. And both acted well near the grid and on the back. They made two breaks in each set, while the second did not give any of their feed.
