The truth is that it looks strange and ambiguous. The British tennis player was removed in June 2022 after the traces of Nandrolon, Boldenone and other prohibited substances were found in her doping test. In December 2023, it was justified, acknowledging that the infection had occurred as a result of meat. However, in July this year, after ITIA appealed, the initial four -year disqualification was again confirmed, and her professional career was again threatened.
After that, the British published an emotional appeal on social networks, in which she commented on the situation.
“To be innocent and forced to prove it is an incredibly grueling process. First you try to understand what all these substances mean. Then – where and why they could get into your body. If you are innocent, you don’t know it right away. You need to remember everything you did, and exclude what could not be the reason, until there is something “something” that can answer. But even at this point you are considered guilty, and you have to fight for your lives against those who have much more money and resources.
The last three and a half years have broken me in many senses. My family and friends were able to gather wreckage and make a completely different person. I do not need jury to say I am innocent; I know my honesty well and know I’m innocent. I believe that anyone can see how subjective has been all this process in recent years.
I was helpless as a experimental rabbit in the laboratory. I had a life, but the life I knew was taken away. All these organizations and people in power took it from me because they did not make the right choice. They may have taken away the fight at the court, but this battle has not yet been completed. Neither for me nor for many others who can be in the same situation.
Anti -doping system is broken; I am the best proof. It needs to be corrected. Not for me – it is too late for me – but for the sake of future players who can get into the same tragic situation. I will still have many words when the time comes. Container”.
