November 3 ATP published an updated version world ranking. Last week, the men won the trophy at the ATP 1000 tournament in Paris, France.

Thanks to the title in Paris, Yannick became the first racket of the world, displacing Carlos Alcaraz to the second position. Before the start of the Masters, there were two conditions under which Sinner could overtake Alcaraz: the Yannick trophy and Carlos’ elimination to the semifinals. The Spaniard left Paris in the second round after losing to Cameron Norrie.

Next week, Alcaraz will again be the first, as Carlos and Yannick will be deducted points for last year’s Final tournament, where the Italian became the champion. The fight for the first position will continue at the ATP Finals in Turin from November 9 to 16.

Among other changes in the top 10: Ben Shelton and Alex de Minaur swapped positions (the American is sixth, the Australian is seventh), Auger-Alassime overtook Lorenzo Musetti and Casper Ruud, and became the eighth player in the world.
