ATP ranking. Sinner closed the gap on Alcaraz after the title in Vienna

October 27 ATP published an updated version world ranking. Last week, men won trophies at two 500 events: in Vienna and Basel.

Italian Yannick Sinner became the champion in Austria. Thanks to this trophy, the Italian narrowed the gap to world leader Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard leads Sinner by 840 points ahead of the Paris Masters – 11,340 points to 10,500.

Joao Fonseca won the title in Basel. The Brazilian set a personal record, rising to the 28th position

Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic are also in the top 5 of the rating. There were several changes in the top ten: Alex de Minaur and Ben Shelton changed positions (the Australian is sixth, the American is seventh), Casper Ruud and Felix Auger-Alassime replaced Jack Draper and Holger Rune in the top 10, adding two places each (9th and 10th racket, respectively).
