Ukrainian tennis player Julia Starodubtseva (WTA 101) will play at the WTA 250 hard tournament in Hobart (New Zealand).
The 24-year-old Ukrainian woman qualified for the competition. In the core of Hobart there will be no representatives of the top 30 of the WTA rating, and Diana Yastremska and Angelina Kalinin will also perform from Ukraine.
The tournament in Hobart will be held from January 6 to 11 – a week before the Australian Open 2025. Starodubtseva has not yet guaranteed herself a place at the base of the major, Yulia is first on the alternate list.
The first tournament for Starodubtseva in 2025 will be the 250,000 in Auckland (December 30 – January 5), also in New Zealand.
