Angelina returns. Kalinina’s first opponent in Limoges became known

December 8 Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinin (WTA 157) starts in the main draw of the WTA 125 tournament in Limoges, France.

In the round of 16, the Ukrainian will play against the representative of Liechtenstein Katinka von Deichmann (WTA 223). The meeting will start at 11:00 Kyiv time.

Kalinin had played against von Deichmann only once before. In 2018, Angelina passed Katinka in the first round of the US Open.

If Kalinina manages to make it to the second round of the competition in Limoges, she will fight either Sonai Kartal or Jessica Pieri.

Angelina will hold a professional match for the first time since the beginning of June.

Another representative of Ukraine – Veronika Podryez – played in the qualification of the tournament in Limoges. Veronika lost to Marina Bassols in the only qualifying match.
