Famous extensist Andy Murray told why he came to the 2025 Australian Open.

“I have played here many times. Unfortunately, this person never made it to the title [Новак Джокович] personally contributed to this. Now I’m here to take away his chances of another victory,” Murray joked.

Murray will coach Novak at the Australian Open. They announced their cooperation back in November 2024.

Novak is the record holder for trophies in Melbourne. He became the champion on these courts 10 times. Novak defeated Andy four times in the final of the Australian Open and once more in the semifinals.
