6:0. Rybakina defeated Svyontek at the WTA Finals after losing the first set

Kazakhstani tennis player Yelena Rybakina (WTA 6) won her second victory at the 2025 WTA Finals tournament, which takes place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) from November 1 to 8.

In the second round of the Serena Williams group, the representative of Kazakhstan beat the second racket of the world Igu Svyontek from Poland in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Rybakina played the 11th head-to-head match against Svyontek. Yelena defeated Iga for the fifth time.

At the start of the WTA Finals, Rybakina lost to Madison Keys. Already today, on the 3rd, Yelena can guarantee her participation in the Pidsumkovo playoffs – for this, Amanda Anisimova needs to beat Keys.

Rybakina became the second tennis player to reach 40 wins on hard courts at the Tour level in 2025, after Svyontek.
