Zinchenko and Nottingham Forest learned the tragic news

English Nottingham Forest, whose colors are currently defended by Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko, announced the tragic news – the club’s legendary football player died at the age of 72 John Robertson.

“It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our legend and friend John Robertson. He was an exceptional individual for Nottingham Forest – a two-time winner of the Champions Cup. His talent, humility and dedication to the club will never be forgotten,” the statement said.

Robertson played for Forest over the years, making 350 appearances in which he scored 71 goals and provided 36 assists, becoming one of the symbols of the club’s most successful era.

Robertson had a hand in the biggest victories in the club’s history – EPL gold and two European Champions Cup titles.
