The Norwegian Biathlon Union presented the composition of the Norwegian national team for the first stage of the Cup 2025/26, which will be held in the Swedish city of Östersund.
The application of the Norwegian national team consists of 13 athletes: six women and seven men.
For the first time in a long time, the Bö brothers, who retired together after the 20242/25 season, are not on the list of participants for the World Cup stage.
The final bid of the Norwegian national team was formed after the recent races in Geilo.
The first stage in Östersund will be held from November 29 to December 7. The program includes men’s and women’s relays, mixed and individual relays, individual races, sprints and pursuit races.
