Will defend the title. The fight of the Ukrainian champion will be shown in Ukraine

Heavyweight champion of Europe according to the EBU version Oleksandr Zahozhiy from Ukraine (19-0, 15 KOs) will defend his title on November 23 in Germany. The battle starts at 21:30 Kyiv time. The boxer’s opponent will be 31-year-old Labinot Djojaj (19-0-1, 16 KOs), who plays for Kosovo.

The match of the Ukrainian athlete will be broadcast on the Kyivstar TV platform. The meeting of Alexander and Labinont will be the main event of the evening.

Tina Rupprecht (13-1-1, 3 KOs, Germany) and Eri Matsuda (7-1-1, 1 KO, Japan) will meet in the main fight (up to 47.6 kg). Sportswomen will compete for the WBA World, WBC World, and WBO World titles.

The Ukrainian boxer lives and trains in Germany. The last time he entered the ring was in March 2024 – he defeated German representative Granit Shalu (16-1, 6 KOs) by knockout and won the vacant title of European champion.
