Andriy Kravchenko was born in Chernivtsi. From a young age, he was fond of sports orientation, participated and was a prize -winner of regional and all -Ukrainian competitions. In parallel, the man devoted himself to military affairs. In defense of the Motherland, he became from the first days of a full -scale war.
A warrior and a sportsman were killed in May 2022. The stingy words of military reports do not give an understanding of what circumstances and where the warrior fell.
“During the protection of Ukraine and its territorial integrity in heavy fierce battles, Chernivtsi, an officer of the special unit of the 8th Regiment of Special Operations forces Kravchenko Andrey Leonidovich was killed. I know only one thing: 26 years together – it is very little, there were many plans, ”the wife of warrior Larisa Kravchenko wrote on her own page on Facebook.
The classmate of the military added: “Andriy Kravchenko. The youngest in our class. Was. Yesterday Andrew, an officer of the special unit, died, protecting us all. Always positive and joyful, with a stock of new jokes and stories. I cannot believe that this terrible war took him. We will meet how only 2 months ago – the whole class … you have at the funeral. Not everything was going to happen. Very bitter. Sincere condolences to his wife Larissa, children, brothers and family. The kingdom of heaven and eternal memory. ”
