Vitaliy Quartznya: “The best chances in the fourth place are Polesie”

One of the authoritative Ukrainian specialists, the former head coach and President of Lutsk Volyn Vitaliy Quartzany, shared his thoughts from Sport.ua on the fight for the fourth place in the UPL table, which gives the opportunity to represent Ukraine in the League of Conferences. For the tour before the Championship finish, three clubs are stored on it at once: Zhytomyr Polissya, the Carpathians Lviv and Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas.

– Which of these teams is the best chances in this dispute? – I am interested in a specialist.

– I think in Polesie. In the last round, the Zhytomyr residents play at home with Kryvbas, so they have the best chance. It is enough to win – and everything, the fourth step will be preserved.

– A few days before today’s duel with Lugansk Zorya, the head coach of Polesie Ashur was released. Isn’t it that you can connect a game splash in the Zhytomyr team?

– It is unknown how much the coach’s change is affected – either for a long time or for a short time. The players have a stress reaction, so in this case it has played a role. The Zhytomyr team went out to play more concentrated, and maybe players thought that half of the Polesie would go with Ashur (laughs). But seriously, the boys gathered, rallied – and won.

In the last, 30th round of UPL, in addition to the duel of two competitors-“Polesie” and “Kryvbas”-another will take place-with the participation of a third competitor. In it, the Carpathians will be accepted on their dawn field.

Polissya today has 47 points and a fourth place in the standings. The Carpathians and Kryvbas, which occupy fifth and sixth places, respectively, are 46 points.
