VIDEO. The legendary Spanish football player ended his career

Legendary Spanish football player Jesus Navas attended a solemn ceremony dedicated to the completion of the player’s career. The event took place at the Sevilla Stadium – Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

The most decorated player in the history of the Spanish national team officially ended his career. Recently, Navas suffered from constant injuries and missed many matches.

Jesus gave a speech at the stadium, which was attended by about 45 thousand fans:

“I live to give joy to my Sevilla and the Spanish fans, and if it wasn’t for my hip, I would have continued to play. So it was very hard for me to accept that this was the end. “I have been suffering from hip problems for several years, but in the last few weeks the condition has worsened,” Navas admitted.

Jesus Navas played 705 matches for Sevilla, and also played for English Manchester City (183 matches). The footballer has 15 trophies under his belt: a record four with Spain – World Cup 2010, Euro 2012, UEFA Nations League 2023 and Euro 2024, as well as eight trophies won with Sevilla.
