Sweden Rally 2025, the second stage of the World Cup with Rally (WRC), took place from February 13 to February 16 in the outskirts of Umeo. It is the only winter rally in the WRC calendar that runs on snow -covered and ice roads, creating unique conditions for participants.

Results

The winner of this year’s rally of Sweden was the Welsh pilot Elphin Evans, who advocates the Toyota Gazoo Racing Wrt team. He demonstrated stable and fast rides throughout all stages, completing rally with a total time of 2 hours 33 minutes 39.2 seconds.

The second place was taken by the Japanese racer Takama Katsuta, also from the team of the Tyota Gazoo Racing Wrt, raising only 0.1 seconds from the leader. His team team, Belgian Thierry Nievil, took the third position, giving way to Evans 1.2 seconds.

The current World Champion, Finn Kale Rovaper from Toyota Gazoo Racing Wrt, finished the fourth, setting up 25.1 seconds from the winner. Fifth place was taken by his teammate, Welsh Elphin Evans, with a backlog of 1 minute 24 seconds.

Sweden rally is traditionally considered one of the most difficult stages of the season because of extreme weather conditions and specific routes. This year’s competitions were no exception, giving the audience a fascinating struggle and unpredictable results.
