As reported by the department’s press service, the money will be deposited into a special account automatically. You can apply for funds through the “Action” application.
“Already in January, you can receive UAH 1,500 in your bank accounts for visiting gyms, swimming pools and other physical culture and sports facilities,” noted the Minister of Veterans’ Affairs Nataliya Kalmykova.
The application can be submitted by participants in hostilities and people who have the status of a person with a disability due to war (PWD). Information about the status of UBD or OIVV should be in the Unified State Register of War Veterans (USVV).
For this you need:
- be authorized in the “Action” application;
- have a verified RNOKPP (Taxpayer Card);
- be older than 18 years;
- have the status of a participant in hostilities and/or the status of a person with a disability as a result of the war, entered in the Unified State Register of War Veterans;
- open a special account “Diya.Kartka” in a bank participating in the program”
- submit an application in the “Action” application.

You must apply for participation by the 20th of the first month of the quarter: by January 20, from April 1 to 20, from July 1 to 20, and from October 1 to 20.
Financial assistance can be used to pay for services in the field of physical culture and sports: in gyms, sports fields, sports sections, sports clubs. The specified institutions must work in the field of activity “Physical culture and sports” and have the seller category code 7941.
Funds must be used in whole or in part within the quarter (three months) in which they were credited. For example, aid received in the first quarter must be spent by the end of March. If the funds are partially used, the balance will be returned to the accounts of the Ministry of Veterans, and the veteran will be automatically charged the funds in the next quarter.
“In case of complete non-use of the funds during the quarter, they will be returned to the accounts of the Ministry of Veterans, and you will stop participating in the program. To receive payment in the next quarter, you need to re-submit an application in the “Action” application, the ministry said.
It is noted that the veteran’s ID card may not be displayed in the “Action” application due to the lack of a photo in the registers. But if the veteran’s data is entered in the EDRVV, you can submit an application in the “Diya” application for participation in the Veteran Sports program.
