Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk said that he sees no problem in crying, although men rarely allow themselves to do so.
“We have this mentality, such a psychology. “I am a man, and a man does not cry.” Why can’t I cry? My daughter was born – I shed a tear like that. I think this is my happiness.”
“When was the last time you cried? When there was a meeting of guys from the front. There is one soldier, and usually men behave in such a restrained manner, but here he jumped on his comrades, crushed him in his arms. And you think – damn it. These are emotions, I’m not ashamed to cry,” Usyk said in a documentary on the 1+1 channel.
