This innovation is followed by a preliminary change in the Major SuppleMental Rulebook, which was related to the definition of the region to participate in Major tournaments and invitations for teams that have equal presentation in two regions.
Earlier, if there were no “three” from one region (most), and the ratio of players between the two regions was equal, the team itself chose which region to represent. Now it will be automatically attributed to a stronger region – that is, that has more slots in Major.
From now on, this will also be displayed in VRS ratings. For example, Wildcard and Liquid, which had the distribution between America and Europe, are now exclusively on the European list, because Europe is now considered a stronger region.
