McLaren, Red Bull, Aston Martin and Haas focused on optimizing air flows under cars, seeking to increase efficiency on the high -speed highway.
McLaren
The Voking team brought to Silverstoun a large renewal of the bottom, which concerns its overall shape, air ducts and air absorption zones. The main goal is to improve the control of air flows under the bottom, as well as more efficient control of vortices. This allows not only to increase the clamping force, but also to stabilize the car in turns. Additionally upgraded brake ducts and aerodynamic plumage of the back – for improved cooling and better overall aircraft.
Ed
Red Bull updated the bottom, including its central part and lateral elements in the area of the air neck. The main purpose of the changes is to improve the distribution of aerodynamic loading along the entire length of the bottom to increase the clamping force without losing the stability of the flow. This is especially important on the Silverstone high -speed highway, where a balanced aerodynamics and stability determines efficiency at high speeds.
These updates have already produced the qualification: to a large extent thanks to them Max Ferstapppen gained pool. The car remained nervous for a long time, and a successful attempt to make it more stable – what the team has long been missing.
Aston Martin
Aston Martin brought a comprehensive renewal, which includes a new bottom configuration, including the central part, air throat and side sections. In addition, the car received an updated engine casing. The team tries to organize and redirect air flows under the machine to get more clamping in a lower road lumen. An important task was to ensure the consistency of a new engine casing with the updated aerodynamics of the back of the car.
Haas
The American team also brought the renewal of the bottom, the central part, the air throat and the edges. In addition, HAS changed the shape of the side air intakes and the mounting of the rear view mirrors to optimize aerodynamics in this area. The changes are aimed at improving the behavior of the car in turns, especially during lateral loads. The main goal is to raise the minimum speed in the vines and add at a qualifying pace.
Judging by the results, the update worked. However, Oliver Berman received a fine in 10 positions for violation of the red flag regime – he lost control of cold tires and brakes while slowly returned to boxing.
Reisings Bulls
The Red Bull Satellite Team brought the plate renewal on the front anti -trrilli. This change is intended to improve aerodynamic efficiency and increase the clamping on the front axis of the car.
Williams
The British replaced the plates on the front of the bottom. Such modernization is aimed at optimizing air flows under the car, which should have a positive effect on overall speed and control.
Zauber
The Zauber team updated the front rubble and made adjustments to the bottom of the bottom. This should help improve the balance of the machine and stability on the route, especially in turns.
