Ukrainian athletes were the first to qualify and did not give way to leadership in the finals. With the result of 29.110, they brought Ukraine the first gold medal at the 2025 Games. Silver – in pairs from Portugal (28.540), bronze – in representatives of Israel (28.250).
Silver was won by Ukrainian representatives of sports acrobatics Ruzanna Svicher and Angelina Chernyavskaya in competitions of women’s couples. With the result of 28.270, Ukrainian women in the fight for gold gave way to rivals from Belgium (28.620), bronze – in pairs from Portugal (27.770).
According to the results of the first day at the World Games, the national team of Ukraine has 3 medals (1 gold and 2 bronze) and ranks 6th in the overall standings.
