Two champions will meet. The president of the UFC announced the best fight in history

UFC President Dana White has confirmed that next year there will be a superfight between the American John Jones (28–1) and British by Tom Aspinall (15–3). Jones is the full champion, Aspinall holds the interim title.

“I think it will be the biggest fight in the history of the heavyweight division and the best fight in the history of the organization. It’s a big struggle. A lot of words were said behind the scenes, so you don’t know all the details.

I was always sure that Jones would face Aspinall. I said earlier that we are not even considering another option. John has never been the type of fighter to shy away from such fights. I assure you that John Jones and Tom Aspinall will meet next year, 100%,” said Dana White.
