On Friday, January 3, the fifth stage of the Tour de Ski took place in the Italian city of Val di Fiemme.

Participants competed in the classical sprint.

The first place in the race was won by the representative of Switzerland, Nadine Fendrich, who managed to overtake her closest competitor by 0.4 seconds. The second position is taken by Lynn Swan from Sweden, the third by Heidi Weng from Norway.

There were no Ukrainian athletes in the sprint, as the team left the competition after the third stage.
