TO CRISTIANO RONALD: “I saw life from another side. It was a difficult period”

Legendary Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo told how his family survived the loss of a newborn son in the spring of 2022.

– The last time we spoke, you were going through a very sad period as a family. You have lost your little son. You talked about it very movingly. Such experiences can either destroy a relationship or make it stronger. In your case, it obviously made them stronger. Do you feel that this is the case?

– I feel that we always support each other. There are good moments and difficult moments in a relationship – it’s part of the journey. But it was probably during that period that we strengthened our relationship even more, as you said.

But over time, I realized that even in the worst moments, you have to make everything move on. After all, even when you are experiencing good times, it does not mean that bad times will not come. You need to try to find balance in everything – both in good and bad moments, to bring the situation to a base point.

This is what I learned. Yes, it was a difficult period, but honestly, it’s good because I learned a lot. I saw life from another side.

Now my daughter is three years old. She is the queen of our family. She is the one who fills the house with happiness. You know, everything happens for a reason. I believe in it. We are a blessed family and I am proud of it, Ronaldo said.

Cristiano Ronaldo admitted when he will cry next time. It's very close
