Timothy Poluyan: “No one was afraid. Realized that we can win in Italy ”

The national team of Ukraine from volleyball spent the second in a row five -seated match in League of Nations. This time the rival of “blue and yellow” became the current world champions- Italy.

The Ukrainians lost two starting networks, but managed to break the course of the meeting, taking the third and fourth party. In the decisive set, Raul Losano’s team was unable to end the set Victory – 2: 3 defeat.

In fact, they played very well. They started very nervously because they played against the world champions, which began to play their volleyball immediately and show their level. It was quite unusual for us, especially after playing with the Netherlands, after five parties. But I think that the third party had a fracture, and the Italians were tired. Thanks to this they reached the fifth set, but unfortunately, they lost, a little lacked. “

What has changed in the game? It’s hard to say. I think that in the third set we were very well taught, it made them make many mistakes, and we gave us more confidence. They realized that we could play and even win them.

– About the lack of fear of playing with Italy and the fifth party

Apparently, no one was afraid: we played with Italians, world champions. There is nothing to lose. They played, they were not afraid, risked, and because of this, apparently, this result happened.

Fifth party? Those balls we lost at the beginning [сету]they were not enough to reach the end. We lost 10:15 because we had failed.
