Former world champion Alina Shaternikova met in the capital of Colombia – Bogotá – with former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko.
“It was an unforgettable evening with Loma. We met in Colombia and talked about our beloved Ukraine, about our families, about our worries and joys, about how our children grow and develop. Time flew by so quickly that we only noticed it when the waiters started preparing the restaurant for breakfast the next morning. Thank you, my dear friend, for your boxing legacy and for your warm and kind soul,” Shaternikov commented on the meeting.
Earlier, the lightweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko announced the end of his boxing career. The Ukrainian’s last opponent was George Kambosos, whom he defeated in 2024.
