As part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Brazil, a sprint qualification was held. McLaren driver Lando Norris won the sprint pole ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli on Mercedes and teammate Oscar Piastre.
Let’s note the excellent performance of the young Mercedes pilot, but Piastri continues to lag behind Norris.
Max Verstappen, who is still hoping for the title, showed the 6th result and the radio said that “the car is broken and impossible to drive”.
Sainz, Ocon, Tsunoda and the owner of the new contract for the 2026 season, Colapinto, did not leave the first segment. Hamilton, Albon and local favorite Gabriel Bortoleto did not make it into the top 10.
The sprint race will take place on Saturday, starting at 4:00 p.m.
