In qualifying, Bondarev took second place at the start, giving way to series rookie Kenzo Craigie, who triumphantly leads this stage.
At the start, the Ukrainian managed to overtake his opponent and hold the advantage throughout the race, despite constant pressure from Craigie until the finish.
The win gave Bondarev 25 points, while his main title challenger Andy Kosani finished third with 15 points. Such results mean that before the final, fourth stage of the championship, Bondarev continues to lead the overall standings, having an advantage of 24 points. The maximum that can be obtained for the final stage is 75 points.
The next stage will take place at the Lusail track in Qatar from February 11 to 13. There, Bondarev will fight to maintain his leadership in the championship and the first overall title in his career and in the history of Ukraine in the Formula 4 class.
