On the last day of the competition, powerlifter Anton Kryukov won the silver award in the weight category over 107 kg.
Also, Vladyslav Yepifanov (single canoe, 200 m, class VL3) won gold and set a Paralympic Games record, and Maryna Majula (single kayak, 200 m, class KL1) won silver.
The Ukrainian national team finished the Paralympic Games in Paris-2024 with 82 medals (22 gold, 28 silver and 32 bronze) in fifth place in terms of the total number of awards.
Ukraine won the largest number of awards at the Paralympic Games in swimming (40).
The winner of the Paralympics 2024 medal count was China, which finished the Games in Paris with 220 awards (94 gold).
At the previous Summer Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Ukrainian athletes won 98 awards: 24 gold, 47 silver and 27 bronze. With this result, Ukraine took sixth place in the medal standings and became the fifth in the number of awards.
