Romanchuk moved to the Romanian championship from Kryvyi Rih “Kryvbas” for 750,000 euros and immediately became one of the team’s leaders. The Ukrainian played 26 matches in which he scored six goals and provided two assists.
Thanks to his confident game, the defender was repeatedly recognized as the best player in the matches of the Super League and European Cups, he was repeatedly included in the symbolic national teams of the Romanian Championship and the League of Conferences.
Oleksandr’s contract expires in June 2028, and his transfer fee is 1.2 million euros. Universitat Craiova is fourth in the Super League (just two points behind the leaders) and 23rd in the main stage of the Conference League, continuing its fight for a place in the playoffs.
