The representative of the Ukrainian Premier League planned to transfer the midfielder of the Chilean national team Lucas Assadiwho defends the colors of Universidad de Chile.
Sporting director Manuel Mayo revealed that they received an offer of $4.5 million for 80% of the player’s rights and accepted it. However, Assadadi’s transfer to the Premier League will not take place due to the refusal of the football player himself.
Lucas spent his entire career in the structure of Universidad de Chile, where he played for U-18, U-21 and the first team. The midfielder has 131 matches, 20 goals and 10 assists.
Assadi has the experience of playing in the national team of Chile, where he played six matches. The 22-year-old player’s contract expires in December 2026, and his transfer fee is three million euros.
