The U-20 Basketball Women’s Team went to the second stage of the CHE

The U-20 women’s national team qualified in the second stage of the European Championship in Division B, which takes place in the Hungarian city-Mishkoltz.

Thus, the second stage of the Eurobasket U-20 came out of our group Ireland and Ukraine, which will continue to fight for the Medals of the Continental Championship.

In the second stage, our group B is united with group A, where the second stage of the national teams of Serbia and Bulgaria, which bypassed Denmark and Albania, came to the second stage. The Serbs won all three matches of the first stage, and the Bulgarian – two. In the eye game, Serbia beat Bulgaria 88:67.

Serbia, Bulgaria, Ireland and Ukraine have formed a group E, which will take into account the results of personal meetings of the first stage, and therefore in Ukraine there will be a defeat from Ireland. The second group will play Croatia, Greece, Hungary and Slovakia.

Ukraine will continue to play with Serbia and Bulgaria. The two best teams of our formed quartet will reach the semifinals of the European Championship, and the other two teams will play for 5-8 places.
