This was reported in Tribuna.com.It is noted that the 21-year-old native of Cherkassy can start playing for the Croatian national team. The final decision will be made by 2025.
The publication recalled that Kovtun and Gorbachev had been preparing for performances in Croatia throughout 2024. After the Olympics in Paris, the athlete has never returned to Ukraine.
Journalists contacted Kovtun and Gorbacheva for comment, but never received a response.
